My journey to Refined Travel has been a personal adventure, fueled by a love for exploring the world and a desire to share that passion with others. It all started in Portugal, where I grew up surrounded by history and a sense of wanderlust. Those early travels sparked a curiosity that has stayed with me ever since, a constant yearning to discover new places and connect with different cultures.

Living in the UK for seven years gave me a deeper appreciation for travel and a real understanding of what makes a trip truly special. I explored much of Europe during that time, always looking for the hidden gems and authentic experiences that go beyond the typical tourist trail. But it was Latin America that truly captured my heart.

Spending a year traveling through Latin America was life-changing. The incredible landscapes, the warmth of the people, and the vibrant culture completely captivated me. I fell in love with the region so much that I decided to make it my home, and I now live in beautiful Costa Rica, continuing to explore its wonders and the surrounding countries. This personal connection allows me to create truly special and authentic Latin American trips for my clients.

My background in Conservation University studies also instilled in me a deep love for wildlife and nature. It's a passion that I bring to my travel planning, and it's why I'm so drawn to creating wildlife adventures, especially in Africa. There's something truly magical about witnessing animals in their natural habitat, and I love helping others experience that wonder.
